I had my first day of summer school "training". It started out with the principal realizing that we had more fellows than classes. Geez! I was paired with another fellow and we got to be with a great teacher. Ms. L will be teaching 8th grade Math and Social Studies. Since she is not certified in Math she is making us do it! Geez I am nervous. I hate Math and I don't remember a thing about 8th grade math. We took the teachers manuel to the workbook that the students will be using. I will be studying that sucker in and out.
So when it hits 12PM, I head out to the bus to get to class. Our professor is nice but I was finding it so hard to stay up. Ugh I need to get used to this schedule. The most annoying part is that the textbook that we have to use for class is 106 bucks! I am going to order it online. I'm poor!!!!!

Ms. V, I wish you had come up to say hi after the panel! I wish I could have been a bit more frank with new teachers coming in...I remember how surprised I was by actucal teaching compared with the idea of teaching presented to me. But I get the feeling you'll do really well! Great luck this year!
